Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 2–6 years mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with machine design and custom equipment design.
• Experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Experience creating mechanical drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design custom automated machinery and mechanical systems using SolidWorks.
• Create 3D models, detailed drawings, assemblies, and BOMs.
• Review customer requirements and develop machine design solutions.
• Select materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
• Integrate automation technologies including pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, conveyors, and servo-driven systems.

• Support machine assembly, testing, troubleshooting, startup, and commissioning activities.

Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in machine design, automation, and SolidWorks to support the development of custom automated machinery and manufacturing equipment.

Job Duties

• Design custom automated machinery and mechanical systems using SolidWorks
• Create 3D models, detailed drawings, assemblies, and BOMs
• Review customer requirements and develop machine design solutions
• Select materials, components, and manufacturing processes
• Integrate automation technologies including pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, conveyors, and servo-driven systems
• Support engineering calculations, component sizing, and design validation activities
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers throughout project execution
• Support machine assembly, testing, troubleshooting, startup, and commissioning activities
• Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Identify opportunities for design improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
