Actalent, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer / Kaizen Specialist for a 6-month contract-to-hire in Madera, CA. You will lead Kaizen events, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with the CI Manager to enhance manufacturing processes.

The role requires 3-5 years in manufacturing, proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks), and strong lean/continuous improvement experience. Onsite work with a competitive pay range and benefits during contract-to-hire.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Manager to develop and execute Kaizen initiatives throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Conduct Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions.
• Identify areas for improvement within manufacturing processes through observation and data analysis.
• Develop and implement incremental improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
• Monitor effectiveness of Kaizen initiatives and ensure sustainment.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to lead improvement projects.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and root causes.
• Document and standardize improved processes.
• Prepare and present reports on Kaizen initiatives and outcomes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Kaizen.

Description

Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Manager to develop and execute Kaizen initiatives throughout the manufacturing facility.

Conduct Kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions to educate and engage employees at all levels in continuous improvement practices.

Identify areas for improvement within manufacturing processes through observation, data analysis, and employee feedback.

Develop and implement small-scale, incremental improvements to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented Kaizen initiatives, ensuring sustained performance and adherence to standards.

Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive improvement projects and achieve set goals.

Collect and analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for further improvement.

Document and standardize improved processes to ensure consistency and repeatability.

Prepare and present reports on Kaizen initiatives and their outcomes to management.

Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Kaizen and continuous improvement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madera, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
