Job summary

Hobson Associates is partnering with a 100+ year precision medical device manufacturer to offer a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer role. This position focuses on improving processes, solving problems on the floor, and bringing ideas to life with production teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience, an engineering degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial, and strong lean, problem-solving, and CAD/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field.
• Lean/Six Sigma & continuous improvement experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• CAD & ERP experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and process capability.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on engineering on the shop floor to improve processes and solve problems.
• Collaborate with production teams to bring ideas to life and implement improvements.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions on manufacturing issues.
• Apply CAD and ERP tools to design and control processes.
