Job summary

CSX invites talented students to join the Operations Control Center Internship in Jacksonville, FL. You will support data-driven decision-making by compiling and analyzing gate‑related data, identifying trends, and drafting actionable insights.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams on capital projects will be a key component of the role. During the 10-week summer program, you will gain exposure to executive networking events, lunch & learn sessions, and site visits, while earning competitive

Qualifications

Rising senior or graduate student with expected graduation Dec 2027 or May 2028.
GPA of 3.0 or higher on 4.0 scale.
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
Available to work up to 40 hours per week for the 10-week program.
Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Collect and compile operational data on gate errors and related metrics.
Analyze data to identify root causes, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Develop reports and visual dashboards for stakeholders.
Partner with OCC on capital projects involving system development or enhancement.
Document procedures and help track performance impacts of improvements.
Present data-driven insights to OCC leadership and other departments as needed.
