Emerson is seeking an undergraduate student to join as a co-op in Elyria, OH. You will rotate through Engineering Lab, CAE, and Product Engineering, gaining hands-on experience with tests, data analysis, and CAD modeling using Solid Edge.

You will present findings to engineering leadership each semester. Responsibilities include setting up tests, analyzing data, drafting lab reports, and supporting product development activities.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Able to work full-time during the scheduled semester.
• Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Aufgaben

• Assist with setting up and conducting tests and gathering data.
• Analyze test data and learn data analysis techniques.
• Write test lab reports.
• Learn CAD (Solid Edge) for 3D modeling of parts and assemblies.
• Build new design concepts and detailed drawings using CAD.
• Assist engineers in product development and sustaining engineering activities.
• Troubleshoot problems and develop creative solutions.
• Complete a design project including conceptual design, computations, CAD layout, prototype coordination and testing.
• Deliver a final presentation to engineering leadership each semester.
