The Mechanical/Electrical Estimator reviews incoming inquiries, evaluates technical issues, prepares cost estimates for projects, submits proposals, and negotiates terms with clients. The role requires knowledge of construction methods, costs, and engineering principles. The Estimator will estimate costs for self-perform work and indirect project costs, work efficiently under deadlines, and collaborate as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience reading blueprints
• 3+ years of experience with commercial electrical estimating and software solutions
• Proficiency in measurements of length, area, and volume
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Proven experience as a Mechanical/Electrical Estimator in construction
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, construction methods, and materials
