Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking an assembler to safely build JLG/Jerr-Dan equipment at our Kansas City area facility. You will follow detailed assembly instructions, use power and hand tools, and position components with an overhead crane to complete builds.

Responsibilities include installing accessories, taking precise measurements, and interpreting schematics. The role requires staying on site, adhering to safety and quality standards, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing or general labor.
• Willingness to work overtime including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to maintain regular on-site attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures and other gauges.
• Follow schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
