Job summary

Source Engineering in Lynden, WA is seeking a Mechanical Drafter for an in-person role at our Lynden office. You will create or modify drawings, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure thorough planning across projects.

The role involves producing SolidWorks drawings, creating basic sales models, interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics, and drafting manuals and BOMs. You will report to the Engineering Manager and work on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling software experience.
• Good technical writing and communication skills.
• Hands-on shop experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Produce Mechanical drawings of existing SolidWorks models.
• Create basic sales models and drawings.
• Create and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Create and modify equipment Operations & Maintenance manuals for Source Engineering equipment.
• Generate BOM’s for purchasing.
• Facilitate engineering change requests as assigned by Supervisor.
• Learn Source Engineering drafting standards and follow them consistently.
