Cullerton Group in Pontiac, IL seeks a Mechanical Drafter 1 for a 12-month, 100% onsite, full-time role from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You will create and update detailed mechanical drawings, 3D models, tooling layouts, and fixture designs for new equipment and processes.

Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure drawings meet specs. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering environment with potential for permanent employment.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant drafting, CAD, or 3D modeling experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specs.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software and drafting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for tooling and fixtures.
• Develop tooling layouts and technical specifications for new machines.
• Convert supplier drawings to internal standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to validate documentation and resolve drafting issues.
• Verify dimensions and annotations for accuracy and compliance.
