Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CAD Drafter to join our engineering team in Illinois. The ideal candidate will excel in AutoCAD 3D and AutoCAD, with a solid background in drafting automation and solid modeling to produce precise drawings for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of CAD drafting experience with AutoCAD 3D/AutoCAD.
• Proficient in drafting automation and solid modeling.
• Excellent technical drawing skills with attention to detail.
• Strong engineering terminology knowledge and teamwork.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality design drawings and plans using AutoCAD 3D/AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and generate designs.
• Utilize drafting automation and solid modeling to improve efficiency.
• Modify designs to correct deficiencies and reduce production problems.
• Review drawings for errors before submission.
• Maintain up-to-date CAD knowledge and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies, client specs, and standards.
• Participate in project meetings and report progress.
