Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in mechanical design; preferably in an OEM environment.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to align designs with technical requirements and collaborate with others for customer driven outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software to meet requirements.
• Translate project requirements into production-ready models, drawings, specs, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, service and cross-functional teams.
• Lead design work with increasing independence and meet schedules and quality expectations.
• Participate in design reviews; incorporate approved feedback and verify design intent.
• Support prototype, validation, testing, and implement design revisions as needed.
• Maintain design records and revision control for reliable downstream use.
• Evaluate materials and manufacturing methods to improve functionality and cost effectiveness.
