FAST Global Solutions, Inc. in Glenwood, MN is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to design and develop mechanical components and systems for ground support equipment or conveyor products, ensuring reliability, safety, and manufacturability.

Day-to-day work includes creating and updating CAD models and drawings, performing engineering calculations, and supporting prototyping and testing while collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to meet project timelines and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field.
• Five years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
• Strong Mechanical Engineering skills, including mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Machine Design skills focused on designing structural frames, mechanical assemblies, and moving mechanisms.
• CAD skills for 3D modeling, drafting, and revision control of mechanical components and systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, industry standards, and safety requirements, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork on-site with engineering, production, and safety teams.
• Familiarity with design codes, FEA or other analysis tools, and basic understanding of quality and continuous improvement practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities
