Job summary

UE Manufacturing is seeking a mechanical design engineer to take ownership of details from concept to production. In this role you will create and modify 3D models and drawings for heavy equipment, collaborating with shop teams and customers to turn concepts into production-ready designs.

The ideal candidate has a BA in Mechanical Engineering, 2–4 years of CAD experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 2–4 years of 3D CAD design experience on heavy industrial equipment (skid packages, trailers, machinery).
• Experience with SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Creo.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components.
• Support design, development, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical system integration with customers and internal teams.
• Review ECRs and execute ECOs per company standards.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation; participate in design reviews.
• Travel to customer sites and vendor locations as needed.
