Job summary

UE Manufacturing seeks a mechanical design engineer to take concepts from idea to production. You will create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for heavy equipment using CAD software, collaborating with shop teams and customers to ensure robust, production-ready designs.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 2–4 years’ hands-on CAD experience (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo). Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands-on CAD experience in heavy equipment design.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, Inventor, or Creo.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Support design, development, and testing from concept to production.
• Coordinate with customers, shop teams, and internal groups on system integration.
• Review changes and generate project documentation and reports.
• Participate in design reviews and implement improvements.
• Engage stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
