Job summary

Roxtec Inc. in Tulsa is seeking a Mechanical Designer I to support 2D drawings and basic 3D models using Autodesk Inventor. You will manage part numbers, BOMs, and Teamcenter entries while learning Roxtec drafting standards.

Role emphasizes attention to detail, collaboration, and growing expertise in Roxtec products and design processes. 0–1 year experience preferred; Associate degree or higher is typical.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering Tech/Drafting.
• 0–1 year of mechanical design/drafting experience, internships welcome.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings from 3D models per Roxtec standards.
• Create basic 3D models with Autodesk Inventor (.stp, .dxf, .iam).
• Develop simple custom designs when standard products don’t meet needs.
• Manage part numbers, BOMs, and drawings in Teamcenter PLM.
• Provide entry-level tech support based on growing product/process knowledge.
• Ensure drawing/model quality before peer review and submission.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure standards compliance.
