BSI Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join its Building Systems team. You will gather field data, model equipment and ductwork in Revit, and develop HVAC and piping layouts for diverse industries.

The role supports hybrid collaboration with on-site presence three days a week and close coordination with engineers and project management. The role emphasizes accuracy, cost awareness, and adherence to industry standards while contributing to multi-discipline squad reviews and

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma and 5+ years in mechanical design/consulting.
• Proficient in 3D modeling with Revit for equipment, ductwork, and piping.
• Experience designing HVAC and utility piping for industrial clients.
• Familiar with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and ASME standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in site visits and data collection.
• Develop 3D Revit models of equipment, ductwork, and piping.
• Generate HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping plans, sections, and details in the model.
• Coordinate with engineers and project management to meet schedules and budgets.
