Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician in Elizabethtown, NC to support mechanical design, test-system development, and automation projects. You will assist with CAD, prototyping, assembly, and documentation for test stands and automated equipment.

You will work closely with senior engineers and manufacturing teams, performing hands-on assembly, testing, and data collection to enable reliable testing and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical background in mechanical engineering technology.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling and mechanical drawings.
• SolidWorks experience strongly preferred; able to read specs and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and revising 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Build, assemble, modify prototypes, test fixtures, and fixtures.
• Support design reviews, tolerance evaluations, and DFMA activities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for equipment installation and validation.
• Document test results and maintain engineering records.
• Assist with manufacturing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
