Job summary

RENA North America in Albany, Oregon, is seeking a mechanical design lead to provide technical oversight, planning, and completion of design goals, and to develop advanced plumbing system schematics and BOMs for complex wet processing tools.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of mechanical systems design experience, strong SolidWorks capabilities, and proficiency in flow modeling, engineering fundamentals, and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; 4+ years of mechanical systems design experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling practices.
• Proficiency in flow modeling best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, sales techniques and project management skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and leadership to mechanical design team. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and complete design goals.
• Constructs and completes an advanced plumbing system schematic and Bill of Materials for complex wet processing tools.
• Responsible to create design solutions and basic engineering tasks in a timely manner.
• Approve and initialize the purchase parts specification process, and working with the Materials team, ensuring all parts have adequate and cost-effective sourcing.
• Ensure all manufactured parts follow RENA and Industry Best Practices for design and Manufacturability.
