Job summary

RENA North America is seeking an experienced mechanical design lead to guide a team on complex wet processing tools. You will own the mechanical design, create BOMs, and drive cost-effective sourcing with the Materials team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years in mechanical systems design, with strong SolidWorks and flow modeling skills, plus PM and sales capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years’ experience in mechanical systems design.
• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling practices.
• Proficiency in flow modeling best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, sales techniques and project management skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and leadership to mechanical design team.
• Constructs and completes an advanced plumbing system schematic and BOM for complex tools.
• Create design solutions and basic engineering tasks in a timely manner.
• Approve and initialize the purchase parts specification process with sourcing.
• Ensure all manufactured parts follow company and industry best practices.
