Job summary

RENA North America is seeking an experienced mechanical design lead to guide a team on complex wet processing tools. You will own the mechanical design, create BOMs, and drive cost-effective sourcing with the Materials team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years in mechanical systems design, with strong SolidWorks and flow modeling skills, plus PM and sales capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years’ experience in mechanical systems design.
• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks 3D modeling practices.
• Proficiency in flow modeling best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, sales techniques and project management skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.

About this position

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical oversight and leadership to mechanical design team. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and complete design goals.
• Constructs and completes an advanced plumbing system schematic and Bill of Materials for complex wet processing tools.
• Responsible to create design solutions and basic engineering tasks in a timely manner.
• Approve and initialize the purchase parts specification process, and working with the Materials team, ensuring all parts have adequate and cost-effective sourcing.
• Ensure all manufactured parts follow RENA and Industry Best Practices for design and Manufacturability.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education)

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years’ experience in mechanical systems design.
• Has advanced knowledge of Solidworks 3D modeling practices.
• Can demonstrate a proficiency in flow modeling best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of common engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, sales techniques and project management skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
