Job summary

RTX is seeking a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree student for an internship/co-op in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering in Medley, FL. You will model and draft parts for private and business jet seating, populate change notices and BOMs, and work with a cross-functional team to solve manufacturing issues.

You will learn aerospace industry practices, prioritization under pressure, and develop collaboration skills while gaining exposure to Creo, SolidWorks and other CAD tools in a fast-paced

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as Creo, SolidWorks, NX, Catia, AutoCAD, Autodesk or equivalent. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook)
• Leadership Experience
• Experience managing projects and working on cross-functional teams
• A minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session
• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
