RTX is seeking an Electrical Project Engineering Intern for Collins Aerospace to join a multi-disciplinary team driving engineering design and project management activities in a fast-paced environment for system and component development. The role emphasizes coordinating testing, driving actions from meetings, and supporting reviews and design work with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

As an Electrical Project Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace you will work with a multi-disciplined, technical design and project management team in executing the engineering design process, in a fast-paced engineering environment, for development and integration of engineered systems and components.

The team works closely with our suppliers, our manufacturing sites, and our customers to ensure that our products are best-in-class, and to continually maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This is the core of what we do in the Power and Controls business. Our major product lines are on-board virtually every aircraft flying. Be it keeping passengers safe with our emergency power generation systems, or creating a positive in flight experience through reliable cabin pressure controls and quieter engines, Power and Controls focuses on delivering a best-in-class experience to our customers. • Working with the Project Engineering lead on the program to drive the program forward.

Qualifications

You Must Have Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

We Prefer

• A minimum of 45 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Outlook)
• Experience with Microsoft Project
• Experience working on cross-functional teams
• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience

Salary

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
