Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Designer Staff to support the development and production of sensors and missile systems. You will create CREO layouts, drawings, and documentation while coordinating with IPT and suppliers to ensure design excellence.
Responsibilities include managing releases, performing design trade studies, and guiding major projects to completion. A Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years Creo experience are required, with GD&T

As the Mechanical Engineering Designer Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Integrated Product Team in creating detailed designs, layouts, and drawings for various components and subassemblies. You will play a key role in developing and generating CREO layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in an Engineering related field
Active development of new mechanical design engineering principles and full demonstrated knowledge of industry practices and related disciplines
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and demonstrated perform complex system-level tolerance analysis.
Minimum 5 years experience with Creo or similar 3D computer-aided design software
Have the ability to generate engineering drawings, documents, parts lists and specifications
Have the ability to guide major projects to completion and engage with senior personnel on significant matters
Have the ability to lead investigative efforts and report status to senior personnel
Hands‑on experience with machining, rapid prototyping, or lab equipment (CNC, 3‑D printers, test rigs)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Model-Based Definition (MBD).
Experience with aerospace hardware such as structures, optical or radio frequency (RF) sensors, energetics, propulsion, or flight control systems.
Comprehensive understanding of aerospace systems lifecycle from proposal and capture efforts, development, transition to production, production, and sustainment.
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00
