Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to own the design of next-generation solar modules and manufacturing equipment in Rochester, NY. You will lead the development from concept through prototype builds and production scale-up, applying SolidWorks and FEA to validate performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
Mechanical design experience within product development, manufacturing, or advanced engineering environments.
Strong experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
Experience with FEA, structural analysis, stress analysis, or mechanical validation.

Responsibilities

Design and development of next-generation solar modules, components, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment.
Create and optimize 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks and other CAD platforms.
Perform mechanical analysis, including FEA, stress analysis, and design validation.
Develop prototypes, test assemblies, and improve designs based on performance data.
