Job summary

FORMULATRIX, a world leader in robotic automation for life science and pharmaceutical research, is seeking ambitious junior to mid-level mechanical design engineers to join our Bedford site. You will test new designs, troubleshoot, and collaborate with offshore colleagues to move products from concept to launch.

With in-house prototyping including a CNC machine, laser cutter, Bridgeport mill, lathe, electronic workstations, and 3D printers, you will iterate quickly and contribute to design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Project/team Leadership experience is highly desired.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with programming and robotics (desired).

Responsibilities

• Test new designs and propose design improvements.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Provide feedback to and work with offshore colleagues; craft prototypes.
• Assist the product manager with customer or engineering issues.
