Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. in the Marshall, MO area is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design mechanical assemblies and automation systems for precision deep-hole drilling machines and related industrial equipment.

You will be responsible for machine layout drawings, calculations, component specifications, and other technical documentation, while adhering to company standards and confidentiality. On-site work is required and the position is temp-to-perm or direct hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, tech, or related field.
• 2–5 years' experience in design of manufacturing equipment or industrial machinery.
• Applied mathematical skills and mechanical analysis ability.
• Proficient in computer-aided drafting; AutoCAD proficiency; SolidWorks or Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer mechanical assemblies, automation systems, and related equipment.
• Create machine layouts, perform required calculations, and specify components.
• Produce drawings and documentation in line with company standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and support company policies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related degree
