Job summary

Client in Marshall, MO seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design mechanical assemblies, automation systems, and tooling for precision drilling equipment. The role is on-site with temp-to-perm or direct hire options, requiring strong CAD skills and practical engineering knowledge.

You will perform layouts, calculations, and documentation while upholding company standards and confidentiality. A mechanical engineering degree with 2–5 years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related degree.
• 2-5 years of experience in design of manufacturing equipment or industrial machinery.
• Applied mathematical skills and mechanical analysis ability.
• Proficiency in drafting and CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).

In this role, you will be responsible for engineering and design of mechanical assemblies, automation systems, and other related systems for precision deep-hole drilling machines and special purpose industrial equipment. Machine layout drawing, required calculations,component specification, and other documentation. Perform engineering tasks related to drafting, mechanical analysis, and design, while maintaining confidentiality and supporting company standards. This position is a temp to perm or direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
