Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering and design principles.
• Experience designing mechanical systems, machinery, equipment, tooling, or automation.
• Proficient with CAD/CAM and 3D CAD programs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs from customer requirements, project specifications, and conceptual designs.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOMs.
• Select materials, components, hardware, bearings, motors, actuators, and other elements.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis to meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
• Design components with manufacturability, assembly, maintenance, and cost in mind.
• Review designs for fit, function, clearances, tolerances, and interference.
• Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to resolve design and fabrication issues.
• Provide engineering support during machine build, assembly, debugging, and installation.
• Make design modifications based on feedback and testing.
• Collaborate with controls, electrical, machinists, welders, machine builders, and PMs.
