Banner Engineering, based in Minnesota, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team and drive the design of industrial electronic products from concept to release.

You will leverage experience in injection molding, machining, and environmental ratings to develop robust designs, generate BOMs, and conduct qualification testing. The role requires collaboration with suppliers and global teams to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 - 8 years of related engineering experience.
• Prefer Creo, FEA, Moldflow, and motion analysis.
• Experience with injection molding and design-for-manufacturing.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes (machining, metal forming, die-casting, etc.).

Responsabilités

• Own mechanical design from concept to release on cross-functional teams.
• Design products to environmental criteria and for assembly.
• Develop and execute product testing plans.
• Support customer applications and investigate issues.
• Create technical documentation and BOMs; manage ECOs.
• Translate regulatory requirements (CE, UL) into design details.
• Collaborate with suppliers and global teams on parts.
