Job summary

You will oversee layouts, schematics, and specifications, coordinate procurement, document test results, and troubleshoot moderately complex mechanical issues. Travel up to 10% may be required as part of project assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2–4 years related experience.
• Experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, GD&T, and related manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis under general supervision.
• Design or modify mechanical layouts, schematics, or drawings under general supervision.
• Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects; identify sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve moderately complex technical issues.
• Perform and document engineering test reports; generate alpha/gamma documentation for product releases.
• Perform engineering analysis; troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficulty under general supervision.
• Enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle, as needed.
