Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 7–10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Subject-matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T and Design for Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of complex mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including supplier development.
• Design or modify engineering layouts, schematics, and drawings for complex scope.
• Communicate with internal/external customers on mechanical issues for projects.
• Design and implement custom mechanical tooling, fixturing and processes; enable assembly/disassembly of parts and final assemblies.
• Generate product specifications and engineering test reports; review documentation.
• Perform engineering analysis and clearly communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Maintain standards across operational processes and act as technical expert on programs.
