Job summary

Sapience Automation is seeking an Engineer II, Mechanical Design to deliver accurate design documentation and support project execution. You will work with engineers and cross-functional teams to develop layouts, assess tolerances, and ensure quality designs.

Responsibilities include drafting, coordinating with teams, and mentoring junior designers while advancing design practices and maintaining safety standards on projects.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Higher education and/or related experience and training preferred.
• CAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise machine layout drawings and detailed mechanical designs.
• Respect tolerancing and mechanical systems including pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams.
• Support project execution to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to resolve design challenges.
