Job summary

MPD INTEGRATION LLC seeks a Mechanical Engineer II to design, develop, and support mechanical components and systems for electrical distribution products and modular power solutions. You will lead projects from concept through production, ensuring safety, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–7 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software and engineering documentation.
• Experience developing mechanical designs from concept through production.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using 3D CAD.
• Create, review, and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing docs.
• Develop innovative designs to improve manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
• Perform analyses and validations to ensure product integrity.
• Ensure designs meet customer specifications, standards and codes.
• Provide technical support to fabrication and assembly teams during builds.
• Investigate manufacturing issues related to materials and tolerances.
• Lead design-for-manufacturability initiatives to improve production efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in design reviews.
