The role emphasizes kaizen, lean methods, and process validation, with potential travel up to 15% to support equipment validation and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with lean engineering or similar methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develops specifications for process, equipment, or tooling.
• Develops runoff and validation plans for equipment and processes.
• Drives waste reduction and lead time improvement.
• Maintains project schedules and critical path delivery.
• Partners with tooling and equipment suppliers to meet goals.
• Forecasts spending and manages budgets for capital projects.
• Leads kaizen activities to improve production processes.
• Mentors engineers or technicians as needed.
• Supports equipment validation with travel <15%.
