Qualifications

• 0-2 years of drafting or mechanical design experience in transformer or related product design.
• Familiarity with IEEE, UL, IEC, CSA standards and DOE regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Inventor or SolidWorks (coursework or internship acceptable).
• Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills in transformer design.

Responsibilities

• Design transformer enclosures and assemblies under supervision, ensuring standards compliance.
• Contribute to data collection for failure analysis and identify potential causes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, sales and service to integrate designs.
• Prepare engineering documentation and test results under supervision.
• Support design reviews with data and technical input.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
