Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and professional experience may be considered.
• Demonstrates foundational knowledge of mechanical design, materials, manufacturing processes, and control systems.
• Communicates technical information clearly through drawings, reports, presentations, and discussions.
• Shows curiosity, accountability, and enthusiasm for developing engineering expertise and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Design & Development: Perform system evaluations, mechanical design, equipment modifications, and process-development activities under appropriate guidance; support manufacturability, cost, and business requirements.
• Research & Technical Analysis: Review requirements, research materials and methods, perform calculations, analyze data, and communicate findings to support decisions and risk mitigation.
• Collaboration & Values Alignment: Participate in cross-functional teams with engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and other stakeholders.
• Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain drawings, specifications, bills of materials, reports, test records, and database entries; follow regulatory and quality procedures.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct feasibility, capability-validation, and QA testing; collect and analyze data and document results to evaluate product performance and compliance.
• Technical Support & Training: Provide hands-on technical support, assist with troubleshooting, and help develop basic tools or automated solutions under guidance.
