Job summary

Wasco Switches & Sensors seeks an Engineering Technician to support the Engineering Department with development, testing, installation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and Facilities to ensure safe, efficient operations and adherence to QMS and company standards.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Two years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering support environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Support engineering projects, perform DOE testing, and collect and analyze test data.
Fabricate and install equipment, assist with layouts and process improvements.
Evaluate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and root-cause investigations.
Maintain engineering documentation, records, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Travel to facilities or suppliers as required for installations and testing.
