You will develop and maintain key documentation while collaborating across mechanical, electrical, software, manufacturing, service, and reliability teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with gas, water, cryogenic, and vacuum distribution systems.
• Experience with P&IDs, device lists, interface docs, and system routing layouts.
• Ability to perform fluid flow and thermal simulations.
• Strong CAD skills and routing/integration work.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering teams and prototype builds.
• Qualifications: Doctorate 3 yrs; Masters 6 yrs; Bachelors 8 yrs.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture for gas, water, LN2, and vacuum distribution.
• Develop and maintain P&IDs, device lists, interfaces, and requirements.
• Perform fluid flow and thermal simulations.
• Create CAD models and layouts for routing and hardware integration.
• Lead hands-on mechanical design and CAD routing for cables, piping.
• Guide component selection (valves, pumps, regulators, etc.).
• Define interfaces, interlocks, and sequencing concepts for SEMI-S2/ASME/PED.
• Support system integration, design reviews, and productization.
• Assist prototype build, bring-up, testing, debugging routing issues.
• Interface with vendors and stakeholders to meet performance/quality.
• Prepare content for requirements, concepts, and design reviews.
