Job summary

ProMach is seeking a versatile engineer to design bottle filling systems, including integrated wash and sanitization, and fluid process skids.

You will develop mechanical and structural components, create documentation with P&IDs, 3D models, and 2D drawings, and work with controls to define common sequences. Travel for field support may be required; a BS in engineering and 4+ years of packaging experience are preferred, with CIP/SIP expertise and CAD skills.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent required.
• 4 years engineering experience; packaging industry preferred.
• Experience with CIP/SIP systems.
• Background in fluid dynamics, pumps, valves, and temperature management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient PC skills (word processing, data analysis, spreadsheets).
• SolidWorks or CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual design and component specs for bottle filling systems, including wash and CIP/SIP integration.
• Design mechanical and structural components for integration with fluid processing systems.
• Generate and maintain documentation using P&IDs, 3D models, and 2D drawings.
• Collaborate with Controls to develop common control sequences.
• Support sales during quoting as a technical resource.
