Job summary

Fogg Filler, a ProMach company, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design bottle filling systems, CIP/SIP processes, and fluid skid assemblies. You will create concepts, specify components, and work with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver practical solutions.

This role requires a BS in engineering, 4+ years in packaging or related fields, strong fluid dynamics knowledge, SolidWorks CAD experience, and good communication. Some travel for field support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 4 years engineering experience; packaging industry preferred.
• Experience in process design, chemical, controls or field maintenance.
• 4+ years CIP/SIP experience.
• Background in fluid dynamics, flows, pumps, valves, chemical blending, and temperature management.
• Valid Passport - preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• PC skills: word processing, data analysis and spreadsheet applications.
• SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual design and component specification of bottle filling systems including CIP/SIP.
• Design the mechanical and structural components for integration of fluid process systems.
• Generate and maintain documentation using P&IDs, 3D models, and 2D drawings.
• Work with the Controls Department to develop common control sequences and methodologies.
• Participate in the quoting process with sales as a technical resource.
• Assemble prototype product using power and hand tools.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and agencies as needed.
• Travel for engineering field support at customer facilities or ProMach sites.
• Maintain professional appearance when representing Fogg/ProMach.
