Job summary

ESAB Welding & Cutting GmbH in Denton, TX is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create and modify 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks, and to convert legacy 2D drawings into accurate 3D representations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and at least one 2D CAD system.
• Experience with Windchill or similar PLM.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Convert legacy 2D PDF drawings to accurate 3D models.
• Implement and maintain drawing control using Windchill.
• Support scarfing machine systems including valves, piping, frames, and actuation.
• Provide on-site and remote customer support across time zones.
