Job summary

Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to lead machine design and R&D design initiatives. The role requires owning delivery from concept through release, selecting appropriate OEMs, materials, and processes.

The candidate should be proficient in GD&T, SolidWorks, and Pro/E, with strong analytical skills for structural analysis and manufacturing technique awareness. Semiconductor background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong in machine design and R&D design.
• Capable to own project delivery from concept to release.
• Knowledge of material selection, machining, and fabrication.
• Proficient with GD&T in manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with SolidWorks and Pro/ENGINEER.
• Knowledge of structural analysis.
• Awareness of manufacturing techniques.
• Good presentation and negotiation skills.
• Semiconductor industry background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the project delivery from concept to release.
• Define structures/loads and select OEMs and accessories.
• Utilize sheet metal applications where needed.
• Create manufacturing drawings with GD&T.
