Job summary

Digital Dynamics Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop high-precision mechanical systems for next-generation semiconductor and display equipment.

The role covers concept through production release, with hands-on design work and mentorship of junior engineers. You will partner with electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless system integration, perform thermal and structural analyses, and contribute to DFM/DFT improvements to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience with product design and high reliability safety systems (semiconductor or capital equipment experience preferred).
• Advanced proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks or equivalent) and PDM systems.
• Strong expertise in thermal management, materials science, precision machining, and structural analysis.
• Proven ability to take products from concept through production in high-tech industries.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical assemblies, precision components, and enclosures for semiconductor/display equipment.
• Support the development process across concept design, prototyping, validation, and release to manufacturing.
• Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, materials selection, and thermal/structural analysis best practices.
• Collaborate with electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams for system integration.
• Contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and DFM/DFT improvements to optimize reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with suppliers/contract manufacturers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Investigate and resolve issues discovered in testing and production via structured root cause analysis.
