Qualifications

• BS degree in an engineering or related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience creating 3D components, assemblies and prints from ideas and rough sketches.
• Experience using SolidWorks 3D CAD design software.
• Proven track record of design for Safety, design for Manufacturing and Assembly, and knowledge of best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, develop and improve plasma-based enrichment technology components using 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
• Create 2D drawings for fabrication and supplier communication.
• Ensure drawings comply with engineering codes, safety, health and quality requirements.
• Direct and participate in installation, testing and development of systems with the team.
• Coordinate internal/external design reviews and track actions.
