Oak Ridge National Laboratory is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to conceptualize, design, build, and deploy EMIS-related devices. We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer who will focus on conceptualization, design, build, and deployment of Electromagnetic Isotope Separation (EMIS) devices through the creation of sophisticated 3D CAD models and detailed design packages suitable for fabrication. This position resides in the Plasma Enrichment Deployment & Engineering Group in the Plasma Enrichment Science & Engineering Section, Enrichment Science & Engineering Division, Isotope Science & Engineering Directorate, atOak Ridge National Laboratory(ORNL).
