Job summary

Eaton's Engineering and Technology Leadership Development Program offers a two-year, two-assignment rotation designed to build leadership and technical depth in mechanical design. Participants will experience cross-functional exposure across Electrical, Mobility, and Aerospace teams.

The program emphasizes hands-on design, testing, validation, and product launches, with relocation to Eaton sites in the U.S. and travel up to 25% as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field with a graduation date before August 2027.
• Minimum internship/co-op experience or 3 months of mechanical design experience at the time of application.
• Minimum overall GPA 2.8.
• Geographic relocation within the United States required.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or similar visa programs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in design, simulation, testing and validation of Eaton products.
• Support product launches and participate in the product development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations).
• Lead or participate in cost-saving initiatives for existing product lines.
• Contribute to Voice of the Customer research and aerospace/electrical/mobility projects.
