Job summary

Eaton is seeking high-potential engineers for its Engineering Technology Leadership Development Program (two-year rotational track). You will work on mechanical design projects across Eaton’s Electrical, Mobility, or Aerospace teams, gaining leadership skills and technical depth in design, testing, and launch activities.

The program emphasizes collaboration with Engineering leaders, cross-functional exposure, and exposure to CAD tools like SolidWorks/CREO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology or applied engineering from an accredited institution with graduation date before August 2027
• Minimum of one internship/co-op experience or an equivalent of 3 months of mechanical design experience completed at the time of this application
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8
• Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT, H-1B, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design and Simulation tasks within rotational assignments.
• Product Testing activities across product lines.
• Design Validation and prototype development.
• Participation in the product launch cycle for new development.
• Voice of the Customer product and marketing research involvement.
• Cost saving initiatives for legacy or existing product lines.
• Travel up to 25% within the region may be required.
