Job summary

Intralox is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Hanover, MD team. You will design components, assemblies, and system improvements for conveyance technology, collaborating across disciplines to deliver practical solutions that enhance performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include owning the design process, supporting field installations, and developing detailed drawings for manufacturing. Travel is required up to 70% and the role is office-based when not traveling.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial machine design.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD and creating detailed parts, weldments, assemblies and installation drawings.

Responsibilities

• Own the mechanical design process from concept to implementation.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers, Controls Engineers, and Field Service Technicians to evaluate performance and implement improvements.
• Develop 2D and 3D models, engineering drawings, and documentation for manufacturing, assembly and testing.
• Lead design changes and ensure modifications are properly evaluated, documented, and integrated.
