Job summary

Veeco Instruments Inc. is looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Horsham, PA, who will focus on the mechanical design and development of wafer processing equipment for the semiconductor industry. This position requires collaboration with engineering teams and production during all phases of product development.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and must have experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience or an MS in Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Experience designing capital equipment assemblies is preferred.
• Proficiency in using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of equipment based on specifications.
• Perform analytical studies and theoretical calculations.
• Prepare and present mechanical designs at reviews.
• Develop test plans and design of experiments.
