Job summary

Veeco is seeking a Process Development Engineer to join our team in Horsham, PA. The role involves hands-on work with the latest semiconductor equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance wet process steps.

Requires experience in semiconductor processes and strong data-analysis skills. The successful candidate will contribute to DOE development, tool improvements, and customer-facing reporting, while adhering to safety and clean-room protocols.

Qualifications

• Semiconductor/process equipment experience required or highly preferred.
• Ability to analyze data and summarize results clearly.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Set up/clean up process demonstrations; develop DOE; perform experiments; summarize results for customer reports.
• Define project requirements; design experiments to gather data.
• Operate state-of-the-art process equipment for demonstrations/experiments.
• Learn PSP software for testing and runs.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Improve toolset understanding by writing tests and presenting data.
• Support tool and metrology equipment enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and maintain process tools; perform preventative maintenance.
